offers a more peaceful holiday
in the countryside .
Downshay farm cottage is situated approximately half way between Swanage
and Corfe Castle in the village of Harmans Cross, and is an ideal base to explore the Purbeck countryside.
The Swanage to Corfe
steam railway has a station 5 minutes walk away. In the village is a sub post office, village store, garage and a local vineyard
and restaurant. Nearby are numerous local footpaths, which make exploring Purbeck easy.
THE COTTAGE COMPRISES ; OPEN PLAN LOUNGE/ KITCHEN/ DINER ; TV with freeview, DVD player, electric cooker , microwave, kettle , toaster, fridge, dishwasher, ample crockery, cutlery & cooking utensils. |

THE MASTER BEDROOM ;Double bed, wardrobe, dressing table, TV . BEDROOM 2 ; Twin beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers BEDROOM 3 ; Bunk beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers. BATHROOM ; Bath with shower over, toilet and wash basin.
AIRING CUPBOARD; Iron, ironing board & vacuum cleaner. UTILITY ROOM; Freezer ,washing machine and toilet. OUTSIDE AREA ; The large garden includes terrace with patio furniture. There is a washing line for drying clothes .
· Bed linen is included. (but not towels)
· Heating is by storage heaters  · Prices include all charges for electricity. · The
cottage comfortably sleeps 6 people , young child counting as one person unless in a cot. Cots are available free of charge. Please specify the number of people staying & whether a
cot etc is required when booking the cottage.  · The cottage is available from 2.30 pm & must be vacated by 10.30 am on the Saturday of departure. Early arrivals can unload their luggage from
10.30 am. · Entry
to the cottage is by Keysafe. The combination will be sent to you with deposit conformation. · We regret smoking & pets are
not allowed. · It
is advisable to take out holiday insurance cover in case of illness. Downshay farm cottage is close to Downshay farm caravan and
campsite, which is ideal if your holidaying with camper friends but prefer “the
comforts of home”. For information on the campsite visit www.downshayfarm.co.uk We do hope you will book with us & would remind you that
in order to reserve the cottage a total of half the rental is required as a deposit. The balance being payable two weeks prior to arrival. Please make
